C’s Complete Weekend Sweep of Stars by Large Margin

The Regina Pat Canadians brought the offense on Sunday afternoon in North Battleford defeating the home Stars 11-0 at the Access Communications Centre.
 
Cruz Klapak would get the scoring going for the C’s just under 3 minutes into the opening frame for his 4th of the season, but that would be the lone goal in the first as the Pat Canadians held a 1-0 lead heading into the intermission.
 
The floodgates would open in the middle period as Dayce Derkatch (9th), Ellis Mieyette (8th), Casey Brown (12th), Jagden Taylor (2nd), and Jonah Sivertson (14th) all scored for the Pat Canadians in the 2nd period. A commanding 6-0 lead was in the hands of the visiting Regina squad with 20 minutes to play.
 
Casey Brown would get his second of the night just 40 seconds into the 3rd, also short-handed to increase the lead to 7-0. Eli Johnson’s first goal of the season would make it eight, before Logan Mehl (4th), Michael Donovan (7th), and Jaxon Skiftun (2nd) rounded out the scoring for the C’s while also securing the 11-0 victory.
 
The Pat Canadians take 4 of a possible 4 points on the weekend and move to 16-6-0 on the season.
 
The C’s will return to action on Tuesday, December 12th when the Swift Current Legionnaires visit the Cooperators Centre for an 8 PM puck drop.
