Thursday, Oct 10 - Pat Cs 2 @ Blazers 3
The Canadians fell behind early, trailing 2-0 after a period of play. Logan Mehl pulled the Cs to within a goal midway through the 2nd and it was 2-1 after 2 periods. Maddox Schultz tied the game early in the third, but the Blazers scored shortly after and held on for the 3-2 victory.
Saturday Oct. 12 - Pat Cs 4 @ Tisdale 3 (SO)
The Cs were in Tisdale for a pair of games and both saw the team fall behind beofre battling back and winning. In this one, the Cs fell behind 3-0 in the second before Ethan Dundas scored his 2nd of the year close the gap to 3-1 after 2. In the 3rd, Logan Mehl got the Cs to within 1 when he scored with 6:42 remaining. He tied the game with 1:12 to go to force OT. The extra period solved nothing and the Cs took the shootout with goals from Surkan and Schutlz.
Sunday Oct. 13 - Pat Cs 4 @ Tisdale 3 (SO)
This game started out better for the Cs and Chase Surkan and Cruz Klapak scored 1st period goals to give the Canadians the lead after 1, 2-1. The 2nd was not favourable for the Cs, as they allowed 2 powerplay goals against and once again found themselves trailing going into the 3rd. Maddox Schultz tied the game early in the 3rd, but that was all the scoring through regulation and OT. The shooutout once again saw Surkan and Schultz score and the Cs came out of Tisdale with 4 points.
Player of the Week
Logan Mehl played a hugerole in the C’s games last week scoring 3 goals and 1 assist in the three games, inlcuding 2 goals in the third period in Tisdale to tie the game for the Canadians. His efforts earned him player of the week honors this week.
