The Regina Pat Canadians were formed in 1971 and played as an all-star midget team in the South Central Junior B hockey league.
This first team had many familiar names in the Regina community, including Washington Capitals Assistant GM, Ross Mahoney and former NHLer Drew Callander. The team was coached by J.Allan Shore.
