Pat Canadians Honoured With League Awards

The Pat Canadians didn’t just win the league regular season banner, the organization also earned a collection of individual league awards and all‑star selections that highlight the depth, talent, and culture driving this year’s group.

Ben Meyer – Top SMAAAHL Goaltender

GAA 2.11 | SV% .922 | 19–1–2 record | 4 shutouts

Ben Meyer’s season was nothing short of exceptional. His calm presence and consistency earned him the Top SMAAAHL Goaltender Award, recognizing him as the league’s best statistical netminder. Meyer, combined with goaltending partner Adam Muntain, anchored Regina’s defensive identity and provided the foundation for the team’s push for a second consecutive SMAAAHL regular season title.

Ethan Young – Top SMAAAHL Defenceman

14 goals | 60 assists | 74 points in 41 games

Ethan Young’s 2025-26 season was nothing short of spectacular as he cemented himself as one of the top defensemen ever in the SMAAHL.  Other teams took notice and Ethan earned the Top SMAAAHL Defenceman Award, as voted by league coaches. Young’s 74‑point season was one of the most dominant performances by a defenceman in SMAAAHL history, and his leadership played a major role in Regina’s success.

Ryker Doka – Top SMAAAHL Rookie

19 goals | 49 assists | 68 points in 42 games

Few rookies step into the SMAAAHL and immediately become impact players—but Ryker Doka did exactly that. His poise, puck skills, and ability to drive play earned him the Top Rookie Award, solidifying him as one of the league’s brightest young stars. Doka’s 68‑point campaign also placed him among the league’s top overall scorers.

All‑Star Recognition: Four Pat Canadians Honoured

The league’s coaches selected two all‑star teams, and Regina’s presence was unmistakable.
